Austin Crecelius surprised his girlfriend, Allison Boyle, by proposing to her while riding The Voyage. The Voyage is the best wooden coaster in the country. In a video that went viral, Crecelius can be seen holding a diamond ring and asking Boyle to be his “roller coaster buddy.” She was clearly taken aback by the proposal but happily accepted with tears in her eyes.
However, after the video was posted on YouTube, some viewers pointed out the potential danger of using a cell phone while on a ride. Crecelius took note of the feedback and apologized to the park for breaking their safety policy. Holiday World responded by reminding everyone to prioritize safety while having fun on the rides and also sending well wishes to the newly engaged couple.
