According to new data, it’s time for Karen to move over as apparently the tides are turning and the Brits who are most likely to complain are ‘Tracey’ and ‘Colin’!
In recent years the name ‘Karen‘ has often been used to describe a person who exhibits behaviours that stem from privilege – AKA complainers.
Social review company, Psydro, has analysed negative review data from the last year and a half to find out the names most associated with negative reviews in the UK – and where the biggest complainers live.
Top of the list – Colin and Tracey!
Commenting on what inspired its research, Psydro said, “In the last year-or-so, Karens around the world have watched their name be tarnished, with millions of memes labelling them ‘eager to complain’, ‘rude’, and a ‘nightmare’ for customer service workers.
However, despite this being a global trend, we weren’t all that convinced that ‘Karens’ really are the biggest serial complainers – so, we decided to do some research to find out which names have really been complaining the most, and where they live.”
