Ross & Rachel Romance

Is the Friends on-screen romance between Ross and Rachel coming true after 17 years off air?

The two actors, David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston, who played the iconic characters Ross Geller and Rachel Green on the hit show Friends, expressed their admiration for each other after a Friends reunion in May this year.

Sources have said that the pair spent hours after the reunion reminiscing on the past which “stirred up feelings” which they both used to have for each other during the filming of Friends.

A source said:

“After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there.”

They said that they both felt a strong connection with each other and would often cuddle and spoon each other on set, but never acted on their feelings because they were both always in and out of relationships with other people.

During the reunion, both David and Jennifer admitted they had a “real-life connection” with each other during the ongoing production of Friends between 1994 and 2004. But both said that “the timing was never right” for an off-screen relationship.

David Schwimmer confessed:

“I had a major crush on Jen”

With Jennifer Aniston interjecting:

“It was reciprocated.”

David continued:

“We were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing. One of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary.”

Followed by Jennifer:

“I remember saying one time to David, ‘It’s going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is on national television.’ And sure enough, it was.”

The two actors then went on to say that we “channeled all our adoration and love for one another” for our on-screen romance instead.

Sources say that since the reunion, the co-stars have “moved forward” with their feelings for each other, sending Friends fans worldwide into a ‘Friend-zy’.
