The couple Tamiris Muzini and Douglas Robert were all set for their wedding, ready to commit to celebrating a happy life together but little did they know there was a dog waiting in the wings.
As the beautiful bride arrived at the church, a wedding crasher caught her eye, a cute blonde stray dog who was mingling with the guests.
He didn’t disrupt the wedding and when the ceremony began he sat down the aisle in the doorway watching as if he knew exactly what was happening.
After the ceremony finished the couple kissed and the newlyweds headed towards the exit. But as they got closer the dog became excited.
When speaking with The Dodo, Muzini said, “When he greeted us at the end, he asked: ‘Take me home. Take me,’”.
And that’s what did, they adopted the scrawny little dog and named him Braiá Caramelo.
He’s covered in scars showing that his road to the church on that fateful day was not an easy one but now he’s found his forever home.
Muzini commented, “He’s so loving. Despite everything he’s been through, he still believes in the goodness of people, he gives us hope.”
Posts on social media suggest the three are loving life and settling beautifully into their life journey together.
